Day 30! The last day in the Challenge!

Plein air and alla prima! 

I got some scraps on the canvas and I will try to take them off,

 just letting the color to settle some more at first.

 I don't usually paint still life  any more but today 

I just saw my cup of coffee.... Too tired, I guess.

I do not have any studio nowadays, usually always painting outdoors!

The color is not dry so the photo shows some shiny parts.

Day 23

Oil on masonite. Day 23. I did not get this quite ready today.

It was blowing hard and I am not feeling well. 

Maybe it is just the wind that made me feel a bit sick.

Some rain but mostly sunny today.

Now it looks like this!(Some parts shining because of the wet oil colors)

Day 12.
Today no painting at all. Had to do a lot of other things.

Day 11

I felt to try something new again. Some times I think there is too much paint left on my palette. Today I painted one more , just using the colors already chosen for another one. And no cat as model. Just trying to get some abstract forms on the canvas.

Day 10.

 Oil on stretched linen canvas.

5.5 inches x 7.2 inches

13.4cm x 18cm

As I usually , almost always , paint alla prima, so this is  mysecond

 painting using some retouching varnish. My cat was not happy 

when it is such a cool and rainy day. So I did  not know what to

 paint at first. Then I thought that maybe I've got some unfinished

 projects. And I found two black painted angels in oil. 

Well, I just got a bottle of the retouching varnish from a good

 friend and thought it may become in use now. The old oil seemed 

not to be very fat so I brushed over with a thin layer of the medium. 

Then it was a real joy to paint on it again.

As it is now painted with oils and varnish, it is not at all dry yet.

All of the challenge paintings are fresh oil and not varnished, not quite dry yet.
(You should not put any varnish on oil paintings before they are really dry and that may take
at least one year. But you can as well , have them non-varnished)

This is my sixth painting this week. I like the challenge, it makes me to try and get painting
much more. And I do feel so much better when I am painting something.
My cat has been a great assistant!
